Our wild man is eight months old. It is hard to believe that that much time has passed. This picture is typical Chase trying to eat the side of my face. He is so Strong. I don't ever remember Preston being this strong. I actually think Chase is stronger than Preston at this time. Chase is a kid who knows what he wants and will do whatever he can to get it. He throws him self backwards to be able to reach for things that he can't reach when he is sitting. I am actually scared of him crawling. Chase will be into everything. As soon as I get a chance to upload more eight month pics I will, there are several cute ones!

Chaser
I can't believe it, but Chase will be eight months on Saturday. It is hard to believe! He is having his pictures today, but I couldn't resist putting up my favorite picture of him so far!
This picture is just so Chase. Hair standing straight up in the air and a big old grin on his face. Most of the time Chase is just such a happy baby. Although he can get really cranky right before he falls asleep. Chase has four teeth already. I can't believe it! It is hard to believe that he will be one year old this summer. This time around it feels like things are flying by!

Mr. Potato Head lost his glasses?
Mr. Potato Head lost his glasses, does anyone know where they went?
Well when you find them will you let Preston know, he's been looking for them! Every time I look at this it cracks me up! He is too funny!
Chase loves his blanket. It was sent to him from Kristin and Chris, his Godparents! They are the BEST! The kids always get wonderful little surprise's in the mail from them. Preston received a Superman music card for his birthday in December from Kristin and Chris and every time I ask him if he wants to read he brings me the card. When he opens it and hears the music he laughs and closes it quickly. It actually gets to the point that I have to take it away for a little while! I know mean Mommy!Last weekend we had a day where the temperature was almost 80 degrees. You better believe that we got the kids out and went for a long walk. Here are a few pictures from our fun afternoon. After we were done with our walk we decided to let Preston eat one of the ice cream bars that he picked out earlier that day.
Ok so it was a huge mess, but he was proud of himself for eating it like a big boy! Earlier that day Preston and I went to HyVee to get some groceries. I decided since it was a nice day to let him pick out ice cream for later. Preston picked out the Nestle Crunch bars. I tried to by something else but he really wanted the Crunch bars. Preston would not let go of the box he held onto it for dear life. While we were walking towards the cash register Preston decided to let everyone know how excited he was about getting crunch bars. He kissed and hugged all over the box. Those who saw thought it was really funny. My poor kid is so deprived, he was that excited over an ice cream bar!DeWitt Family Fun
I always thought shaving cream was an interesting texture and I thought Preston would enjoy playing with it. I have also have heard that it is a good textile thing for kids to play with. We set up a little area in our kitchen to let Preston play. We did take his shirt off in order to control the clean up processes better. Preston really wasn't sure what to think, but it only took minutes for him to get into it. Preston started rubbing it and it just turned to foam. He laughed and giggled and would say WOW!
It didn't take long for Preston to smear shaving cream all over him.
Preston had SO much fun, especially since after we were done he then got to play in the bathtub for awhile!
